In this mobile first world, it is not surprising that 1 out of 3 people between the ages of 18 – 49 say that they either no longer need or have never even had a Cable TV subscription.

However, while traditional TV watching is on a rapid decline, video watching is definitely NOT DEAD as YouTube sees a healthy rise in video viewership and increased time spent streaming online content.

In 2015, 18- to 49-year-olds spent 4% less time watching TV,
while time on YouTube went up 74%.
